Broche "El árbol de la vida"

Este broche de plata fue un ejercicio para la escuela. Un marco de plata, curvado y con una textura irregular conseguida a martillazos, delimita el árbol, que se ve en un segundo plano a mayor profundidad. Este segundo plano, que cuenta con un granate verde engarzado, ejerce de elemento principal. Los acabados de la pieza se consiguieron gracias a un baño de óxido negro, sobre el que apliqué un toque de esmeril en la parte superior y un acabado brillante sobre la parte inferior.

Anillo solitario con granate

Hoy quiero enseñaros mi primer trabajo de clase. Este año he decidido matricularme en la escuela superior de joyería para obtener el título oficial, dado que ya tengo un pequeño bagaje en este mundo después de cuatro años como aprendiz en un taller.

El anillo consiste en un sencillo solitario con la pequeña dificultad de engastar una piedra con solo dos grapas, en este caso un granate de 3,5 mm de diámetro y talla brillante. El matizado del aro tiene un papel importante en el resultado final, ya que el punteado encaja muy bien con la simplicidad que quise darle a todo el conjunto. Un anillo sencillo pero elegante. Today I will show you my first school assignment. This year I decided to enroll for jewelry school to get the official degree, since I have already been working as an apprentice for the past four years.

The ring consists of a simple solitaire, with the slight difficulty of setting a stone with only two staples, in this case a 3,5 mm wide garnet, diamond cut. The ring's dotted texture has an important role in the final result, since it fits nicely into the simplicity I wished into the set. A simplistic yet elegant ring. Pendientes discos y Pendientes discos granate

Esta 5 entrada es la continuación de la colección Discos.

Hoy presento un modelo de pendientes, de los 2 que hay en la colección. Estos pendientes se basan en tres discos, 2 de 12 mm de diámetro y el central que es de 14 mm de diámetro. Están realizados en plata y tienen un matizado rayado que les da esta terminación.

Como ocurría en el anillo también hay la versión con un granate. Este está ubicado en el ultimo disco, uno de los de 12 mm. La piedra tiene un diámetro de 8 mm. Están realizados en plata y tienen un matizado rayado que les da esta terminación.

This 5th entry is the continuation of the Disks collection.

Today I present you an earring design, of both kinds existing in this collection. These earrings are based in three disks, two of them 12 mm wide, and 14 mm wide the central one. They are handcrafted in silver, with a streaked texture.

As was the case with the ring, there is also a version with a garnet. It is located on the third disk, one of the 12 mm ones. The stone is 8 mm wide. They are silver with a streaked texture.

Anillo Discos y Anillo Discos con un granate

La 4ª entrada trata sobre dos anillos de la colección titulada "Discos" (podéis ver aquí los pendientes de esta colección).

El primero es un conjunto de tres discos de 14, 15 y 16 milímetros soldados entre si formando una forma muy parecida a un  trébol. Su terminación es un matizado rallado.

El segundo también es un conjunto de tres discos de las mismas medias que el anterior, pero con un granate rojo de 8 mm en el medio de los tres. El matizado también es rayado.

The fourth entry is about two rings belonging to a collection called "Disks" (here is the link to the earrings in this collection).

The first one is a set of three disks (14, 15 and 16 milimeters) welded to look like a clover, with a streaked texture.

The second one is a set of those same three disks (same measures), but with a red garnet of 8 milimeters on top. It is streaked, too.
