Este colgante es un ejercicio creativo que nos mandaron hacer en el grado superior de joyería artística. Consta de una parte central intercambiable hecha de resina y se sujeta por detrás con un cierre de herradura.
Como temática escogí el mar: creé una pieza representando el océano en su estado natural, y una segunda pieza sobre el mar contaminado. Podéis ver los dos modelos en este post. La parte exterior está hecha de plata y tiene ocho remaches de cobre, a la imagen de un ojo de buey de los barcos. Como se puede apreciar, la plata está avejentada manualmente. La cadena que lo sujeta es de cobre también envejecido.
Espero que les haya gustado. Yo, por mi parte, disfruté haciendo las
resinas y no descarto en un futuro hacer alguna coleción con ellas.
I did this necklace as a creative project for jewelry school. It consists of a central interchangeable disk made of resin, and it fastens at the back with a horseshoe clasp.
I chose the sea as inspiration: I created a resin medallion symbolizing the ocean in its natural state, and a second piece showing contaminated sea. You can see both at this post. The outer ring is made of silver, with eight copper rivets, imitating a ship porthole. As you may see, I gave the silver an aged look. The chain is made of aged copper.
